Francisco Puentes is a Venezuelan-born director, cinematographer, and photographer based in San Francisco, California. With a degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Filmmaking and Photography from the Academy of Art University, he blends strategic insight with cinematic craft to create storytelling that is visually striking and emotionally resonant.

An Emmy Award winning filmmaker with over a decade of experience, Francisco has partnered with corporations, agencies, and nonprofits across biopharma, technology, and beyond.

His Caribbean roots bring warmth and authenticity, while his marketing background ensures a strong understanding of partnership, brand impact, and audience connection. His work spans commercial films, branded content, and commercial photography, focused on turning complex ideas into powerful visual stories.
